Kalea felt a bit uneasy after Brittany looked over her hand. That... was not a handshake. Oh well. 'Was there something on my hand?' She looked at it. No... then was it palm reading, like that weird old lady in Japan was doing? 'But that old lady only said that I have an average lifespan. Is there something else on my hand that I should know about? Or maybe that old lady actually didn't know how to read palms...' Kalea was thinking too hard to notice Bonnie walking into the courtyard. She jumped when she looked up from her hand and saw the maid girl. "Oh, hey... Bonnie", said Kalea after Bonnie introduced herself. She jumped once again when she saw a hand pop out of the tree and wave.
(((speaking of which, my lifespan line is way too long... it makes me emo |l'orz)))

Dean entered the courtyard with a determined look on his face. He walked over to the croud of people and stood there looking heroicly. While waiting for someone to see him he started to sharpen his saber.

Kalea jumped for a third time at the sight of the boy with a saber.
"Exploring? That sounds cool. I'll join" she chimed, although she was a bit nervous and unsure of what the forest was like.

Seth looked at the pirate-boy as if he were a complete nut. And in Seth's mind, he was. Who in the right mind would wear a pirate outfit without even having the excuse of halloween.

Brittany, who had stayed silent until this point to observe, thought now would be the right time to remark: "I bet the forests are haunted. I'd be glad to go under your leadership-" she indicated Dean with a wave of the wand "- Captain." She stood up and put her hat on. Putting her hand out to shake, she said "The name's Angel. Brittany Angel. Lieutenant Angel, if you would be so kind." She pronounced "lieutenant" as "leff-tenant", as was the old, proper way. "When are we planning to embark?"
((She's starting to remind me a bit of an evil Luna Lovegood.
