Alice made her entrance to the reception area, pretending it was the lobby of a superultraglitzy resort and not, like, a hostel. She pushed her hair out of her eyes and looked around for someone to take her bags. Ugh, there they were. Two casually-dressed young people (though they were definately older than her, and one wasn't casual so much as punky) were sitting down in a row of chairs by the wall, chatting about something trivial. She walked up to them, put one hand on her hip, and pouted. "Um, hello!" She waved her elegantly manicured hand in front of their faces. "Get up and get my luggage, or I will definately tell your supervisor. Got that? Now snap-" she snapped her fingers twice "-to it!" She turned around, sure that her orders would be followed now that she had brought the issue to light. There was a front desk, just like in a... hotel. Alice pulled out her compact from her purse and checked her mascara. When she was sure that she was a ten (or a nine point eight- one couldn't loose their whole charm on these people), she put on a self-confident strut and walked up to the desk. She snapped her gum to get the receptionist's attention.
((Lin is fun to write. But she insists you call her Alice. So do it.))

"Kelly? As in the girl/guy who did Shoes..." Oliver was unable to finish because he was interrupted by Lin. He rolled his eyes. 'Great. THIS kind of person. I'd throw a squid at her if she didn't look so cute.' He stood up and looked at Lin. "And where are your bags?" Oliver smirked.
((me: well, Oli, I guess you have a name-changing-asian rival now, huh. *pushes Oliver into the ring* Oliver: OH IT'S ON GIRLFRIEND. *lame boxing stance*))

Alice whirled around. "Ohmigod, shut up. The'yre right outside the door, you rude boy." She pointed to the four leather suitcases that were, indeed, right outside. "And no more backtalk. Go!"

Oliver smirked again. "Fine. I'll go get them. On one condition..." He rolled his boring-looking black suitcase right in front of Alice's feet. "There. Please look after them while I fetch your luggage. I only have one suitcase, so that's still a an advantage to you." Although Oliver would have preferred a fair trade, this girl was getting on his nerves. "Okaythankyouverymuchbye." He waved at Alice and headed toward the door. "Oh, and make sure they don't jump out at you. I think it'll be fine as long as you don't try to pick the lock. But don't tip the suitcase over or shake the suitcase too much, okay?" He quickly left the front desk with a straight face.
((*Oliver gets KO'd.* me: wow. Olie. you need to toughen up a bit.))

Alice's mouth dropped open. "What?! You want me to watch-" But the boy had already gone to get her bags. "Ugh, whatever. She left the suitcase where it was and turned back around to the front desk. "Um, hello?"

Aiesha was about to confirm that the Shoes guy/girl was exactly who she was reffering to when yet another obnoxious, over-confident jerk decided to show up. When she asked- no, demanded that she and Oliver take her bags, Aiesha simply raised her eyebrows as if to say 'make me'. She laughed at Oliver's solution, though. And wondered what it was that would jump out of his bag.

"Yes, ma'am." It was a strain for Lily to be polite. She'd like to tell all these arogant children to escort themselves out, but, alas, this was not a situation where you could point to your conviniently placed sign that read 'We have the right to refuse service to anyone'. "Are you here to sign-in?"

Oliver came back in with only one leather suitcase, using both his arms. "Phew..." He set it next to Alice, in front of the receptionist's desk. But then he noticed that Alice was not watching his suitcase. "Why aren't you... Oh my- ARE YOU CRAZY?!? THEY COULD HAVE JUMPED OUT AT YOU!! More importantly," He took a deep breath. "They could have all died." He moved the suitcase toward Alice again and shook his head. "One last chance." He headed toward the door again, when his evil humor came back. "If, that is, you want to stay alive. Your choice." He grinned and walked back outside.

Daniel entered silently and leaned against the small space of wall beside Lily's desk. He watched the asian boy struggle with a large suitcase and then yell at another asian, this one a girl. They were probably brother and sister, because all asians were related and looked exactly the same. The boy went out for another bag, which made Daniel laugh. How much stuff does one person need? After watching the scene he stared expectanly at Lily.

Alice was about to answer the receptionist when the weirdo luggage boy came back in and screamed at her. "What do you have in there? Bunnies?" she scoffed. Wait, died? She took a step towards the bag. No, he couldn't be serious. She turned around (though she didn't step away from the suitcase) and said to the receptionist: "Duh. Why else would I even be here?" She didn't notice the man.

"Right..." Lily glanced quickly at Daniel so that he'd know that she saw him. "I'll need your name and age, please."

"Alice Hong, seventeen." It was better, she thought, to say nothing about her real name.

Oliver pulled the two suitcases into the lobby, and noticed another man standing there. He stopped and nodded at the man as if to say hello ((coughasiancough)). Then he went back to carrying the suitcases. Even by rolling, these suitcases were very heavy. He placed them next to the first one. "One more, miss. Don't worry, they're more vicious than bunnies, but I'm sure I'll come back before they try to attack you", he said with a straight face and went back outside.

"Alice Hong." Lily repeated as she typed the name in. "You get three free meals a day in the cafeteria. There is a library and a lounge for you to use as you wish. You will be in room A101. It's in the building out that door and on the right. Here's your key." She handed her a key. She smiled and hoped it wouldn't take too long for her to clear out of the lobby. Of course, with 4 bags it wasn't likely.

Daniel waved at the asian boy and then decided it would be appropriate to do a facepalm when he went out for yet another bag. What. the. heck?
