"Great!" Alice chirped, taking the key and dropping it in her purse. Lowering her voice conspiritorially, she leaned in and told the receptionist: "Your bellhop service is... subpar. Just thought you ought to know."
She did not cast the Mysterious Bag a wary glance.

"We don't have a bellhop service here, you brat." Lily mumbled under her breath. She looked at the massive pile of luggage and groaned. If Ms. Hong wanted her stuff, she'd have to get it herself. She wasn't about to make Oliver or someone do it. Finally she addressed Daniel, "Yes?"

Oliver came in with the last leather suitcase. He literally threw it next to Alice...or at least attempted to. "Thanks for 'looking after' them." He grabbed his own suitcase and pulled it toward himself. "I have been told to wait here, so you'll have to carry those suitcases yourself." He sat down next to Aiesha again. He kept on watching to see if she was able to carry them, not knowing that Daniel might do it for her.

"Oliver, you can just leave those there." Lily was looking at Alice, "Ms. Hong would be happy to carry them herself."

"It can wait until you're done with our guests." Daniel looked at each of them. He needed Lily's complete attention.

Alice frowned. Obviously, these people were enjoying a joke at her expense. Well, she wasn't going to let that phase her. "Yeah, I'll carry the bags. They're not even that heavy. Maybe Oliver should start working out in his spare time instead of cultivating dangerous suitcase-dwellers." She curled her lip in distaste at the boy. Then she picked up her lightest suitcase in one arm and started pulling the other three, in turns. It was a bit awkward, but Alice knew that if you do anything, even the most demeaning chore, with a confident expression, then you will appear to be doing it with poise and elegance. Mother had taught her well.
Soon she was gone, leaving a slight trail of flowery perfume behind her.

"Right." Daniel looked at Oliver, Aiesha, and Riv (whom he was pretty sure wasn't even applying) consecutivly and said, "Congradulations. You're all hired. We'll deal with the specifics later." He slammed his hands down on Lily's desk and leaned closer to her. "May I borrow you for a minute?"

Lily heaved a dejected sigh and stood. "Fine, then." She pushed her chair in. "So, you three are in charge, I should be right back. All you have to do is type in each guests name, age, and gender in the appropriate feilds, hit enter, and their room will pop up. There is a drawer of keys for each building: Alpha and Beta. If anyone wants to apply, tell them to wait until I get back." Lily walked around her desk and stood next to Daniel. "I assume we're going to your office?"
