Jacques grinned and considered hitting Lily lightly on the shoulder. He didn't. She might get weirded out. It was a very American thing to do, though. "I'm sure it will. You're still young... I think?" He wasn't very good a guessing people's ages, especially girls'.
"Anyway!" He stretched out his arms behind him, then shook himself. "I'm getting a little tired. Think I might want to go familiarize myself with wherever I'm going to be staying whilst I'm here."

"Alright. Well-" Lily was cut off by a buzz on her cell phone. She checked the messsage, chuckling a bit, and sent what she thought was a witty reply. She stiffled a yawn as she turned back to Jacques. "Sorry. I'll see you in the morning, I guess? I have to stay at the desk until 9."

"Sorry. I guess I'll see you." Jacques knew he should probably stay with Lily, but he got nervous when it was dark and it always took him a while to get used to a new job anyway. Plus a pep talk was in order, and some Nocebo. He stood up and picked up his shoulder bag, wished Lily "Bonne nuit," and set off for... wherever he was going.

Lily waited for Jacques to be out of earshot before bursting into laughter. She liked him, she really did, but she doubted he could last more than a week. She wouldn't be surprisf if he quit in the morning. Never the less, she wished him the best of luck; a permenent coworker would be nice.

Kat entered, silently, noticing the gleeful receptionist. She padded to the front desk, and flipped her hair from her face. Which immediately fell back onto her face, and she ignored. "...Hello..." she muttered barely loud enough for Lily to hear, "Is this the....Remmington...Center?"

"... I... see..." Lily said, reaching for a pad of paper and a pen. I wonder if she's foreign. She seems to have trouble putting sentences together. She jotted something quickly on the paper. "So, you are here to sign in as a resident, or are you looking for a job?" A third possibility suddenly occurred to her, "Or... Could you be looking for someone who lives here?"

"My name....it has....Kat Jarvis." Kat mumbled, "My age....? Third-teen....I think..." She brushed her hair out of her face for the umpteenth time, which fell back into it's original place. ((Her hair is quite annoying, is it not? XD)

"...Uhhh... okay then." Lily said, typing the information into the computer. "Well, you get three free meals a day in the cafeteria. We have a lounge open and a library is soon to follow. You can also visit the courtyard; there's a wonderful view of the sunset. You are assigned to room A102. Here is your key." Lily handed the strange girl her key somewhat reluctantly. "Building Alpha is right through that corridor and to the right. If you have any questions, just ask me. Have wonderful evening." She smiled.

Alexandra walked into the reception area. She looked around and started walking towards the front desk. "Hi, my name is Alexandra Mando, and i would like to live here."

Lily smiled at the new girl. She had an innocent aura around her, something that Lily liked a lot. "Of course." Lily said, typing the name into her computer. Judging by the clock, this should be the last guest she'd have to deal with today, which brightened up her attitude remarkably. "How old are you, honey?"
