King of the Forest

A medium sized tom cat slowly crept through the tall grass. He pricked his ears. He was alert. He was king. He sniffed the air to check for prey or invaders. None. He had no name, of course. He needed no name. He was free now. He scratched at the collar still around his neck, the only reminder of the time he had been so wrongfully imprissoned. That wicked lady. Forcing that disgusting, crunchy food down his throat. Forcing him to stay alive. He had been on his own for nearly a month, and was getting the feeling that he was nearing a territory of his own. He sat up and looked up at the sky through slitted eyes. The tag on his collar gleamed. It had one word on it. Hippo. He scratched behind his ear and prowled on, wanting to make sure this territory was really unoccupied.

The tom cat's ears perked as a noise from the forest reached him. The noise belonged to a large creature, larger than a cat or even a dog. He sniffed the air. He did not recognize the scent. He prowled closer to the forest to find this creature.

[Dean Cooper]

Dean came into the open area and scowled. He hated being hungry and his stomach was aching. "Maybe I should of surrendered?" he asked himself Then he saw it a rustle in the grass, something was moving in the grass, not something someone. Dean pulled out one of his neon green Nerf pistols and shouted "I Dean of... of... th the Remmington center demand you show your true form... evil sorcerer!" A squirrel poked its head out of the grass and ran away. Dean sighed he thought that it would be a, a, cat. Dean sighed again his hunger had beaten his will to survive, he turned on his heels and with his gun's scope in front of his eye he walked back into the forest and back to the Remmington center.
