Daniel sat down at his new desk and breathed in deeply. Ah, that new office smell, he smirked to himself and pulled out a stack of papers. He would have to sign off on all the paychecks for the construction workers soon; Alpha and Beta were nearly complete. He was so excited for his first guests.
Oh yes, he could hardly wait.

There was a knock on the door; he looked up. After pausing a moment he stood up to answer it.

After attending to said business outside, he came back into his office and sat down with a loud sigh. For some reason, he didn't feel much like working anymore. What he could really go for was a nice, long nap. But alas, there was much work to be done with a new business. At least he had successfully hired a new person, whom he doubted would break the rules. He chuckled to himself. He had nearly scared Jacques right out of his pants, and he had barely even tried. He leaned back; he was going to have a lot of fun with that one.

Daniel glanced at the clock on the wall. People will probably be getting hungry soon... And no one asked for kitchen duty, not that I expected them to... yet... He got up grudgingly and headed to the Cafeteria.
