Cody barged right into the reception area, or lobby, or whatever these places were called. He took in the Asian kid and the hip hopper girl sitting down and wondered whether he would have to wait. Whatever. Charlie Taylor didn't wait for anyone. And if anyone was smart, he wouldn't make him wait. He tapped on the receptionist's desk and grinned suavely at her. "Hey there, sweetheart. You're the secretary, right- no, receptionist, sorry. So, this is like free apartments? Great." He pulled out his driver's licence and slapped it on the table. "Sign me up."
((I realized that he's, like, two years too young. Shoot. He needs some backstory now. *sulks*))

Lily jumped, startled by the sudden, rather abrubt appearance. She couldn't help but blush and smile shyly, though in these type of people should annoy her. It was something left over from when she was young; the flaturing feeling of passing seemlessly. She took the man's driver's license and looked it over. "Charlie Taylor. You want to be a resident here?"

"Natch. But please. Call me Cody." He made the peace sign with his fingers. "So... where do I put my stuff? I'd like to unpaaack..." He trailed off. "Like, my stuff, right?" He wiggled his hand from side to side. "You know where I go, or whatever? I've got like eight tennis rackets in here or something. Because you know, I play tennis." He flashed the lady a grin.
((This guy cracks me up. He is stupid. Very very very stupid. And you misspelled like eighty things. o__o WHOAH MAN STAY AWAY FROM ME WHEN YOU'RE HOLDING A KNIFE!))

Oliver froze at Aiesha's remark. 'I guess she was listening to me talking to the receptionist...' "Well, I... had a fight with my roommate back at college so we were both kicked out of the dorm. I need a place to stay, preferably far away from my ex-roommate... And I need a summer job too", he replied to Aiesha.
me: (rolls eyes) what, did that ex-roommate of yours call you KEVIN? "oliver": STHU. ...yes, b-but that's not the main reason. (glares at me) (throws a shoe at jacqi's head)

"Ah." Aiesha replied with a knowing nod. "Roommates can be tough. As for me, I'm just here out of curiousity. As usual. I like to do things on a whim. So I took out a text book, pointed to a random name, googled it, picked a random page, and this was on it. So I thought I'd check it out. Seems pretty chill." She nodded again, looking around. Jocks. Ugh. What a bunch of morons.
((What a stereotype there.))

"Interesting..." Oliver was surprised. He was the type of person who never took anything by chance. Everything had to be organized and scheduled. He already knew what kind of colleges he could get into by 8th grade, and he ended up going to one of them. He didn't like surprises, including the roommate problem that could have effected his academic grades if he didn't take action... Oliver turned his head toward the jock that entered the room. Oliver himself was never any interested in sports, but his ex-roommate was... 'Well, that's a problem that has nothing to do with this.' He frowned and looked away.

"Alright, then. Cody." Lily said, typing the name into the computer. "You are in room B103. It's just out the door there and in the building on the left. You get three free meals a day in the cafeteria; and there's a library and lounge available whenever." She handed him his key. "Have a great afternoon."

"Sweet, thanks!" He took the key and shoved it into his pocket. "Hey, what's your name? Since you know mine." How awesome was he? Too awesome. He grinned and leaned on the desk. All in a day's work, baby.

Lily blushed again. Really, it was involentary, she swore. "J-Lily. Lily Mathers." she said, "If you need and help you can just ask me." She smiled shyly. ((Remm: Now that she's occupied. Aiesha: *fangirl squeal* Remm: Sthu, you're not invited. Aiesha: Dayum. Guess what? I joined the UN club at school! First country we get to be is Switzerland, Russia, or China! ))

Aiesha nodded more. "Yuuuup." She paused and stared at the ceiling. She squinted her eyes as if to look closer at something. Then she apparently forgot about it because she snapped right back into the conversation. "So, college. What was your major?"

Cody nodded. "Will do... Lily." He stretched out then switched his duffle bag to his other shoulder. "See you 'round." Then he left, making sure to wink at Lily as he turned away. It's in the bag. Alright, Charlie!
((Cody talks to himself. AHAHAHA. UN? *secret dream of mine* RUSSIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMOTHERLAND.))

Lily stared at where Cody had been for nearly a minute after he left. She blinked a couple times, shook her head and went back to work. Pherimones. Jeez.
((Because Lily really does have the hardest job.))
