Daniel spread his arms out as he left the large building into the cool night air. He loved the outdoors. Absolutely loved it. It was his main inspiration for building this place. He lay down on one of the benches and shut his eyes. Hopefully he wouldn't fall asleep and risk getting caught by Lily. She would not be happy that he was slacking off while she was hard at work. Ah well, at least she had that butler guy to keep her company.

Jacques hated the outdoors. Absolutely hated it. For one thing, it was dark, and in the dark you couldn't see if anything was coming to get you. And he could hear bugs, and it was really cold. There was an indistinct noise from to the left of the gravelly path. Jacques' heart flew into his mouth and he almost shouted for help. Then his eyes, which were slowly becoming used to the dark, spotted the source: a dark form on a bench. He breathed a sigh of relief, then thought: maybe it's a dead body. He brought his fist to his mouth and inched forward to see.

Daniel heard the sound of feet moving over gravel. He opened one eye to see who was coming. It was that butler, and he looked freaked out of his mind. "Bonsoir, mon ami." he said sitting up,"Done helping Lily?"

If Jaqcues hadn't been psyched out anyway, he might have screamed "OH DEAR GOD." As it was, he only breathed the words so Herr Remmington couldn't hear them. He took a deep breath, cleared his throat, then stopped. he didn't really know what to say. "O- oui," he said weakly. "I thought I'd go to see my... um, where I'll be staying. Right. It is this way, isn't it?" He eyed his shadowed employer warily.

"Oh.yeah." Daniel stood and searched through the pockets in his jacket. He pulled out a key, "They finished them about half an hour ago, so I haven't gotten the chance to give you your key yet." He handed the key to Jacques. "So... Want me to show you where it is?" he smirked, "No offense, but you seem like the type who gets lost easily."
((I know I already sent the password, but I never have you the key. ;0))

Jacques could have kicked himself. "You're right, I forgot!" Then, very quietly, he muttered, half to himself: "Ich bin ein Dummkopf." and pulled back on his hair. He also went quite red with shame at Herr Remmington's not-very-thinly-veiled insult. "I suppose that would be best," he deffered. That man and his verdammt smirks. He could have cried. "Vous avez raison, I am terrible with direction." He made an apologetic face, but it came out looking more frightened for his life, as per usual. "Lead the way, monsieur."
((*dies* Well, Jacques would to that anyway. No harm?))

Daniel's smirk grew, "Alright. Follow me." He turned and left the courtyard down a wide dirt path that led towards a grove of trees.
((You remember the passwords, yes?))

Jacques stumbled after his boss, clutching his key in his sweaty hand and pulling the other back over his head. His hair, stiff with gel, was beginning to stick up, and he wanted nothing more than to take a shower. He wondered whether his new quarters would would even have a shower. With this guy running the place, who knew what they would find? ((Yep!))
