Jacques hadn't really realized that it was ten pm until now. He came out of the staff lounge and made his way to the courtyard still just revelling in his lucky escape, but as he entered the open air a familiar coldness crept into his limbs. Merde, it's dark. He slowly began walking across the courtyard. Then he heard rustling in the trees, and ran back to the light. He tried to get through it again. And failed again. And again. It was a vicious cycle. Every time he thought he heard a wild animal, or saw a shadowy figure holding a chainsaw, he would run back to the main building. Once there, he would realize how stupid it was that he thought he was in danger just because it was dark, and would venture (almost) fearlessly into the night. And then he would feel something go past his leg, squeak, and flee to safety. It was embarrassing, but at least there was no one to see him do it.
((Kat needs to appear.))

Daniel stepped out into the frigid air, suprised at how cold it was. I thought it was supposed to be summer. He noticed some...figure across the courtyard that seemed to be going into the forest and then almost imidiately coming back out. Curious, he quietly crept forward until he could recognize this figure. It was Jacques. He grined and crept up behind the butler. When he was close enough, he sort of lept at Jacques and pushed him forward.
((He's so mean. XD;))

Surprisingly, Jacques didn't scream. Well, he did, but it was more of a short ejaculation of surprise. He did trip, fall over and skin his palms, though. He rose up to his full height, wincing, and twisted around to face his assailant. Seeing that his attacker was Herr Remmington, he scowled and snapped: "Watch it! You scared me!" His face softened somewhat and he blushed. "Um, I mean- sorry. Just freaked out. It's dark, you know?" The withdrawls were really getting to him, weren't they?
((WHAT THE-?!))

((OH MY GOTT, it's French!Jacques. O__o You know, Remm is somewhat afraid of him.))
Needless to say, Daniel was suprised that he didn't get the reaction he had hoped for. He had been aiming for more of a scream and less falling over. But, he ignored this and laughed, "Scaring you isn't a hard thing to accomplish." He didn't go any further though. Jacques didn't seem as scared of the world as usual, so there wouldn't be much fun in it. In fact, he seemed an aweful lot like he had in... The usual smirk that played on his face quickly faded after that thought. He looked at Jacques questioningly, "What are you doing, anyways?"

((I won. *evil grin*))
"Um... trying to get to my cabin?" Maybe it made more sense in his head. "The woods are... well. Dark." Dear Gott. He was pathetic, wasn't he?

Daniel stiffled laughter, because it really was funny. "Yeah. I was about to lead the rest of the staff, so you could follow us."
((Win? What did you win? You may have won the war, missy, but you have not won...the thing bigger than war!))

((I don't think that's how it goes... *stare*))
"Ah. Right. I'll just wait here then. For the rest of the staff." I thought I escaped these people!

((Invader Zim. Original quote: "You may have won the war, Dib, but you have not won...the...thing bigger than war!"))
Lily entered the courtyard and gasped at the shock from the cool air. She wrapped her red shawl tightly around her and crossed the courtyard to Daniel and Jacques. "Hi." she said with a small smile. She was shivering slightly. This is pathetic.

Oliver stumbled into the forest. "Um. Sorry I'm a bit slow." He decided it would be better if he didn't say that he tripped on a rock and therefore fell behind everyone. He brushed his knees and pat his suitcase as if it would automatically ensure that its contents were safe.

"Guys! Guys!!" Aiesha yelled as she ran across to the group. "Wassup, homies? We all here?" She smiled at Jacques, for some unknown reason.

Thomas followed closely behind Aiesha, but much more quietly. He joined the group and gazed into the forest beside them. It was so dark, he could barely see a thing. Oh my God, this is sooo much like a book!

Bonnie realized it was dark and smerked three times. She then started to walk over to Kyles room. But she stopped. She said, "Do you know where KYle is?"
