Daniel hurried back through the hallway, pushing Lily in front of him. Seeing Torus still in the hallway he said, "Hello guy that looks like Riv."

"It's Riv's brother, actually." Under normal conditions, she'd feel excited that she was seeing Riv's brother. Curious as to why Riv never mentioned him. But as it was, her back hurt and she knew she was about to get a scolding. But, at least she had some scolding of her own that she could get out of the way. She opened the door to Daniel's office once they got to the end of the hallway and stepped in.

"Didn't know he had one." Daniel shut the door behind them. The door made a rather movie-like sound, exactly what you'd imagine a door-slam to sound like.

Torus watched Daniel and Lily dissapear into the man's office. He sighed and turned back. Maybe he would see what the rest of the place was like.

Daniel walked back down the hallway. He had been so deep in thought (as unwelcome as those thoughts were) that he hadn't realized how hungry he was. A waffle just doesn't last all day.
