Aiesha pursed her lips slightly and watched Daniel leave. After he was gone, she turned back to her book. Mostly to Jacques, she said, "You know, he made that receptionist cry earlier." She did not approve of that. Nope, nope, nope.
((You know how many times I almost write Arimaz instead of Aiesha?))

((Tee hee~!))
"O-oh." Jacques was rather surprised that Aiesha was confiding something like that with the whole library. "Lily? Cried? Mr. Remmington? Um?" This made him feel vaguely guilty. Thinking of it now, certain actions in the recent past were rather... unadvisable. "That wasn't very nice of him." Oh dear. What if Lily was angry?

Aiesha shook her head. She spoke in a much lower voice this time, apparently now aware that she was in a library, "No it was not." She paused for a few minutes and tried to get back into the book, but there was something else she wanted to know. "You don't seem to like him either. So, what's his deal?"
((Ha, silly girl. You could ask him yourself. Your spot in my brain overlaps his. 8|))

"Um." What should he say? "He's... complicated? I don't know him very well-" Well, that depends how you define know... "-but he does seem to be a little..." The guilt was overwhelming, and he trailed off to stare at the book in his lap with a slight frown on his lips.
((Thinking hurts Jacqui's brain. LULZ))

((Wooooow. His thoughts made me laugh. Poor Jacqui, didn't mean for you to feel guilty. *pats him on the back.))
Aiesha looked away from her book at Jacques. She wanted to inquire further, but decided that would be a bad idea. She didn't want everyone to think she liked butting into everyone's business, even if it was true. It's better to keep those qualities hidden. She turned back to her book and pretended to read.
