Jacques came over, nodded to Miss Fox, and started wiping the table with a damp cloth.
"Are you all right, Miss Fox?" he asked coversationally. "You seem a trifle down." He didn't exactly expect an answer, but asked anyway.

SOME RANDOM PERSON ran past the cafeteria, poked her head in, and ran back so quickly that if anyone saw her, they would be unsure what the heck it was. Was it a girl? A boy? A baby? A thirty year old? WHO KNOWS. MWAHAHAHAHAHA.

Jacques nodded. "I know the feeling." He glanced up as he saw someone flit past, but turned his attention back to the table, scrubbing at a stubborn bit of syrup. He glanced up at Miss Fox again. "You aren't feeling sick, are you? Because if you are then you should probably go lie down... I'll get you a glass of orange juice." Without waiting for an acquiescence, he gave the table a final once over and turned back to the kitchen.
