Lily let out a sigh of relief as everyone left. Sure Riv and Daniel were still here, but she didn't mind them. Daniel would leave soon, she was sure, and she wanted to talk to Riv a bit. She walked back around her desk and sat down in her chair. "Riv, would you like to sit down?" she patted the chair next to her, "I have a secret I want to tell you."

"Okay. You have to keep this secret, because I don't tell many people okay?" Lily said, her smile looked more forced than usual. "When I was very little, I did something that made my parents very angry. It wasn't a bad thing, but they didn't like it. After that night, they kicked me out. I had to live on the streets and feed myself." Lily looked at the ground, slightly ashamed, but she knew that Riv needed to know this. He needed to know that he wasn't all alone ans he needed to know there was hope. "I remember meeting this girl. She took care of me, showed me the ropes, so to speak. She called herself my 'big sister'." She looked at Riv with a real smile, though her eyes were a bit watery, "Even though it was hard and felt horrible, if it hadn't happened, then I wouldn't be here now. Not at all."
