Lily looked at Riv questioningly. "You don't happen to... Are you Riv's brother?" she asked. Riv had never mentioned a brother. Until just now, at least. And how would his brother have found him?

"Wow..." Lily was quite at a loss of words. "I'm sorry. I'm just..." She attempted to regain her composure, "I'm just a little suprised. You said you wanted a job? As maintanence, correct?" She'd never considered a maintenence crew beyond the janitor.

"Yes, thank you." Lily took the paper and looked over it. He seemed satisfactory for the job. "Looks good." she commented, "If you go down the hallway to the right, at the very end is Mr. Remmington's office. You can go and see him now, if you'd like. He should be in there." She handed Torus his resume, "He'll ask you for that."

Once Torus had left, Lily turned to Riv. "You never said you had a brother." She wasn't angry so much as suprised. She never would have guessed. And where had his brother been when Riv's dad chased him around with an axe? If she was mad at anyone, it was Torus.
