"Uh, okay!" Bonnie flipped the pancake and asked, "Would you want anything on top, like syrup or powdered sugar? There is maple and strawberry syrup." Bonnie gestured towards the syrup and raised her eyebrows. She looked to see if the pancake was ready.

Aiesha watched Jacques as he left. Oh, she was totally right. She always was. But she still had to figure out... No, had she? Wait... Her mind wandered down this tangled path for a few minutes before she could see her destination, which was-- "Huh?" Aiesha jumped when she heard her name. She looked around for who had said it. Bonnie? And what did she want? She caught the syrup question directed at Lin. Oh right, pancakes. "I'll take the next one." she called to Bonnie. Maybe this wasn't the time or place to think about that...
((I expect a facepalm or something from Tay.))

"And I'll take the third!" Thomas added. He had debated whether he should skip pancakes and just go to the library. He had already eaten a granola bar, after all. Nature Valley, to boot. But there waasn't anyone awake to speak of, so he didn't see much purpose in going now.

FOOD! It woke Kalea up from her daydream. "Oh oh oh then I call fourth!" She raised her hand. Then she remembered that some of the people here thought she was a boy. That was funny. She zipped up her jacket and regretted not wearing a more "masculine" one. 'Ah well. This jacket could be a guy jacket too', she reassured herself.

Alice tapped her chin lightly. "I think a little bit of maple syrup will be fine, thanks." She turned to the kid in the jacket. "Hey, what's your name?" The whole androgynous thing was kind of weirding her out, and she didn't want to say anything stupid.

Alice took the plate in her delicate hand with an approving nod that it didn't burn her hand but no verbal thanks. The chipper maid would be fine without it, she was sure. Then she took a knife, fork, and napkin, and headed to a table to eat her breakfast.
