Jacques stammered something about halfway through Jack's tirade that sounded sort of like "N-no, I'm n-not a N-nazi... H-herr Remm-remmington tried to k-kill..." Then he was noticeably silent until about five seconds after Jack finished. His face looked like he was about to have some sort of nervous seizure. "Um, I don't... like... tacos." he managed. Scary!

Daniel burried his face in his palms while Jack went off on his tangent. After he was done and Jacques had answered, he looked up. He pat his butler on the sholder reassuringly before saying "You said you were here for a reason? It'd be nice to know what it was."
((Wow, slightly OOC there, Danny-boy. Does Jack scare you too?))

((WHUT, MAYBE.))
Jacques was caught rather off-guard at Daniel's sympathy.
((One liner for lack of stuff to say. Gonna retreat and lol.))

"Oh, riiiight." Jack said. He cleared his throat and lowered his voice. "Well, ummm... I'm not what you did or if you even did anything, but uhhh... Their done. Done with this place, I mean. They're gonna shut it back down and clear it away." He straightened up and stretched, his voice returning to it's usual volume. "Just thought you should know, ya know? Before they came and tore the place from under your feet, so to speak. I mean, you know how they are. Aggressive. And they never do things the easy way." Jack shrugged and stood with his hands in his pockets.

"Why am I not surprised?" Daniel muttered under his breath. "They are aware that there are people living here, right? All people that have nowhere else to go? I mean, the place is free."

Lily walked into the office and was about to cheerily greet the knew guest when she caught a glimps of his face and stopped dead in her tracks. No... "Jack!" she shouted, marching over to her desk, ignoring the two behind it. "What in all of hell are you doing here?" Most people just found Jack annoying or dull minded, but Lily hated him. She hated him enough that it was a wonder he didn't drop dead from her penetrating glare.

"RSP is shutting us down." Daniel explained. "Jack came to warn us."

Jack, apparently oblivious to Lily's obvious anger, grinned and cried "Lily! I've missed you so much!" He gave her a tight, bone crushing hug. "Yeah, anyways, what Remm said. They're gonna tear the place down in, like, a week or something." He shrugged, "That's just a guess, but it's gonna happen."

Lily struggled against Jack's tight grip, and when she was released she slapped him across the face. Suddenly, her expression changed to confusion and mild shock; the reason Jack was here was finally settling in her mind. "Wait... What? They're going to... But why?" She looked back and forth between the three others in the room. "What did we do wrong?"

((My English teacher is le crazy. We're taking the final online, but he hasn't even set it up yet.))
Jacques also cast a nervous glance at the other two staff members and their "older brother". If the Remmington Center was closed down, then he would have to return to his mother, corrupted and without any money for his troubles. And it seemed to be going so well... It was like a strange dream, not always pleasant but always better than staying at the flower shop with his mother, and now it was ending.

"We did plenty wrong." Daniel pointed out, glancing at Lily. "Most of which has to do with him." He gestured toward Jacques so Lily would know which 'him' he was talking about.
